For the first 12 years, I had used only long-term menstrual pads alongside conscious leakage. For the first time, I tried an ecological, hand-sustainably collected natural mushroom from the sea using a 200-year-old method a few years ago!

My period was wonderful! Menstrual sponges are really easy to use: a moistened, soft sponge is placed inside. And when the porous sponge has absorbed itself full of menstrual blood, the sponge is taken out and rinsed, after which it is ready for use again.
